“On Saturday, 9 of us walked up to Stacker Butte on along a road bordered with slopes of blooming flowers. We must have passed by gazillions of lupine and balsamroot blooms along with paintbrush, phlox, vetch, clovers, parsley, yarrow and who knows what else. We saw an ‘in your face’ view of Mt. Adams, plus views of Mt. Hood, Ranier, and Jefferson along with sweeping views of the Columbia Gorge. Afterwards we stopped at the Wagons and Wildflowers Festival at the old ranch below the butte.” - Diana
